New World Tourist Owner Arleene A. Just Wrote to Tell Us How Much She Loves Her Bike Friday!
From Arleene:

You know a bike is well loved when it gets a name!
Mr. Friday and I have gone on many great trips together. He accompanied me for all my rides around the city and back and forth to work…that is until the ice and snow came then I switched to my mountain bike with studded tires.
.
.
I have packed him up four times and each time it gets easier to figure out how to fit all the parts in the suitcase….can now do it in less than 30 minutes even when packing all the trailer parts. If not planning on towing my trailer I can fit all my travelling bits, clothes, etc.. into the suitcase so only need a small carry on when flying. He has travelled to Ontario and British Columbia.
.
.
In Ontario I did a 8 day self supported trip and rode along highways, the Cataraqui Trail (see picture) and along the Waterfront Trail on the St Lawrence River. We had four Bike Fridays on this trip.
.
.
I have flown twice to Victoria BC where I rode on city roads, the Rail Trail, Galloping Goose Trail and even a little in the old growth forest.
.
.
Closer to home I did a 3 day hub and soke trip where I road on dirt roads, grassy trails and gravel roads sometime pulling my trailer and sometimes riding in the ditch as the gravel got too heavy.
So many enjoyable miles, over 1000 km. Before Mr. Friday I would come home with sore knees, shoulders, neck and numb fingers. Now no concerns except a little tired. Thank you Mr Friday and thank you to all the staff at Bike Friday. Those little wheels can go anywhere. Who would have thought it was possible!
