PERFORMANCE THAT PACKS, BICYCLES THAT FLY

Welcome to Bike Friday

Welcome to Bike Friday, where we believe the bicycle is still the most efficient, human-centred form of transportation ever designed.

We exist to offer elegant, personal solutions to modern problems: reducing reliance on car culture, supporting healthier lives, and strengthening communities, one thoughtfully built bike at a time.

Each Bike Friday is made to order, because every rider is different. We listen first, build with care, and stand behind our work. We don’t just want to build bikes; we want to build long-term relationships rooted in service, not just transactions.

Our guiding belief is simple: a bicycle should amplify your life. It should fit you, reflect you, and be there when you need it wherever you are in the world.

On the Trail

It’s not like I would ever strap on body armor, take a ski lift to the top of a mountain and blast my way down on my Pocket Llama. I’m not really a mountain biker. I just ride my Bike Friday on trails. Which is why I get it when a baggy pants dude raises […]

Lunch Date

I have had my […]

Seattle’s Best: Finding the Sweet Spot

In general, my rule is simple. When in a city, head for the hills. More often than not, of course, that means heading out of town. To the country. That’s what makes Seattle something special. Wherever I am in or near Seattle, I’m drawn to the city. Because it isn’t really city cycling. At least […]

Portland Sunday Parkways: A Great Day

By Raz The hustle and bustle of the day slowly began to wind down under the sizzling, spring sun as the day drew to a close. With temperatures into the 90s on a stunning Mother’s Day, the heat began to wear a bit on the thousands of riders trolling the streets of Portland. That’s when […]

Pedal for People

Bike Friday enjoyed a wonderful day at Armitage Park on Saturday, May 12, as we participated in the first Pedal For People Metric Century ride to benefit the Oregon Supported Living Program. We enjoyed meeting the folks who stopped by our booth. Bike Friday Co-Founder Alan Scholz rode the course along the McKenzie River, and […]
