It seems that my handlebars are too close. What are my options for getting a new handlebar stem?
If you are within your 30-day fit guaranty period, we will be happy to do what it takes to make the bike fit you.
Contact Bike Friday Customer Service about our fit stem program, and we can send you a Fit Stem. Using this tool, you can dial in exactly where you want the handlebars to be. Then you return the stem to us, and we will build you either a Custom Ultralight Stem (generally for drop handlebars) or an Adjustable Riser Stem (generally for straight handlebars).
If you have had the bike for more than 30 days, give Customer Service a call, and see what arrangements can be made. Each case if different, but the bottom line is that we want you to be happy with your bike, and will do what we can to make it fit you.
