These are the reasons to keep these computer codes on file if you own a bicycle computer.
- I Purchased a bike computer with my Bike Friday from the factory. Is it calibrated for my wheel/tire sizes? Yes – it was calibrated before it was shipped with your bike.
- Can I get the bike computer code chart for various tire sizes, so that I can use my computer on all my bikes? The chart we have linked below is only for our bike wheel/tire sets and not for large-wheel bikes.
- If I buy a bike computer after I buy my Bike Friday, what are the codes for setting the correct wheel/tire sizes? See below. There is a link to the code chart.
- Will my bike computer need to be reset if the battery dies? Yes, it will need to be reset.
A really smart move- get a piece of masking tape or other tape that can be written on. Write the code on the tape (best to use permanent marker) and then place the tape on the back of your computer. If you are on the road and the computer battery dies, you will have the code with you.
