Jeff Linder shows what you'll look like pedaling coast to coast...
Now that you've joined the Fold, you might as well fly the flag. It's a simple safety flag for your TravelTrailer, Sat R Day, tandem, personal backyard fort ... comes with a bracket for mounting to your rear wheel axel of that turns your crank ...
See our online store to order, call or email service@bikefriday.com - we may have some left.
We even used a bunch of these flags to stake out our campsite at the Cycle Oregon 2003/BF Homecoming!
HOW TO MOUNT THE FLAG
PHOTO GALLERY Our way of mounting the Trailer Flag on the Carlton Case. Admittedly this quick'n'dirty method places it on the Aussie/Brit side of the road, but it still works. it also works on the newer Samsonite F'Lite case, as shown in the pictures below.
BF Club of Boulder leader Jeff Buechler wrote in and offered an alternative method that places it on the USA side of the trailer. See below.

![]() JEFFRY BUECHLER METHOD I really dig the BF F'lite suitcase trailer. iIve used it many times from hauling my bike/luggage while traveling, to groceries, to all kinds of strange loads around town. I recommend a 3-piece safety flag so that it can easily be stowed in the suitcase. I had a fiberglass 2-piece flag, but cutting it down to fit in the suitcase made it shorter than I'd like. [NOTE: You can buy two of our 2-piece flags and cut them down to make a 3-piece - Ed] I recently bought one of the 3-piece aluminum ones from here, and it's very high quality. |
![]() For attaching it to the trailer, I've pasted some pictures below. Basically, I wanted on the left axle and not drilled into the suitcase. |
![]() In the left side, it's positioned so that I can open/close the suitcase without fussing with the flag. |
