PRAISE FOR Bike Friday Customer Service

June 12, 2008: I want to share a few comments from my customer Jeff Scholefield, who cracked his rim in the middle of his trans-America ride.  He called us from the side of the road, broken down and broken hearted, thinking his trip was over.  But Tim got him connected to a local bike shop in Pueblo CO, who rescued him, and replacement parts are on the way:

"Boy am I glad I bought a Bike Friday.  I was so delighted when Ted picked up my problem this morning at about 10:45 Mountain time."

"Thanks again to all the Bike Friday team.  I really appreciate you guys being there when I seriously needed you."

"I can tell you I was so inspired by the response I got when I rang the Bike Friday number.  My little world had ground to a halt on the shoulder of the 96/50 just 8 miles from Pueblo, and for a few moments I thought my TransAm was over.  Then between you guys and the bike shop guy in Pueblo within 20 minutes my world really did have a silver lining;  I was not alone and people who knew what to do did what was needed. All I had to do was get the bike to the repair shop and keep myself safe!  Which I did! To learn how you will have to wait for my weekly Log!"
