Feasibility of riding a TIKIT across America?

I'm planning my first transamerica bicycle tour and I am entertaining the idea of using a folder. Would the BF Tikit be up to the task? By that, I mean quality wise, will the frame/components hold up to day in and day out riding for 1-2 months at 50-100 miles per day?

Also, is it possible to replace the flat/straight handlebar on the Tikit with one that offers more hand positions? This is important to more on long rides to be able to change hand positions.

If the Tikit is not suitable, what other folders are candidates for long distance touring? I'm looking at the Brompton as well and although I like the handlebar on their high end model, I don't think the Brompton is as suitable for long distance trips.
