How about making the standard issue tyres Greenspeed Scorcher 40-349 rather than Schwalbe Marathons. The Scorchers are the lowest rolling resistance, smoothest riding 349 mm tyres available. The Marathon has relatively high rolling resistance. If the Scorcher is too expensive then I'd recommend the Primo Comet 37-349.

Everything's a careful balance and even with the 16" wheels it's a bit bigger than a Brompton. No need to make it bigger still, especially given that such a thing would render it difficult to fit in many commuter trains.
rim size
The tikit wheels are the 349mm '16 inch' size. Quite a wide range of tyres available, standard issue will be Schwalbe Marathons, 16 x 1-3/8.
