I see that there will be a number of carrier options for the tikit: front and rear, panniers or flat racks. However, do I understand correctly that the only one of these that can be loaded while in the folded position is a one-sided front pannier?

Looking at the design you may want to consider the ability to mount something to the back of the seat post. There seems to be ample space and it would be in the perfect front and center position for putting things in a mounted bag while wheeling the tikit around like a shopping cart. It wouldn't be lopsided like the one-sided pannier and the additional weight will only pull backwards on the seatpost, reinforcing whether it is that holds the seatpost in place while riding.
