Roads are for people, not just for people in cars. Walking, bicycling, & multi-use trails: your best transportation investment for a healthy Vermont.

That's what you'll see at the foot of BFCA Vermont Leader Becka's emails. an outspoken activist, she actively champions the pedal-powered cause, and luckily for you, on her Bike Friday!

Becka says, "There's lots of great rides we can do from Burlington and Brattleboro. We already had an informal BF Club of VT in that about 10 of us who ride BF's already know each other, and are all members of the advocacy group I head up. I don't know any BF owners in Burlington itself [come out with your hands on your handlebars - Ed], BF's seem popular with the 'empty nester' crowd. I'm often one of the youngest BF owners around (I'm 34); a lot of people seem to buy them to travel in retirement."

"Burlington is a BF owner's paradise. We have a bike path that almost connects to the Airport (only about 2 blocks of road riding in suburbia and before you're on a nice path all the way into town! Pedal on!"
