TOUR DE FRANCE ON A FRIDAY: The Col d'Echelle (near Alpe d'Huez) 2007
The bike went well - especially descending, which was nice!
Going up, the 39/53 with Capreo worked well on the long ascents.
Got a lot of attention from the fans waiting for the Tour to come
through and with nothing better to do than guffaw at the small wheels. I
started to get a complex! Sorry I wasn't smiling - I should have been. The trip was great fun.
